Villa Liostasi in Rethymnon West Crete
The
Liostasi villa in Rethymnon, is the perfect accommodation scheme
for alternatine tourism & hospitality while staying close to nature in one of the most beautiful areas
of western Crete. Liostasi villa is located in an area of unique
natural beauty near Arkadi Monastery and the borderline of traditional
village Amnatos.
The villa can accommodate from one to ten people and it can
be offered all together and independently, whereas thanks to
the layout it can accommodate
up to three families.
Local Architecture & Villa Character
The formation of soil, local architecture and natural area beauty led to its
seperation to three small independent buildings in a total area of 180
m2, with strong participation in the
composition a semi outdoor
area (fourth building) of 35 m2, which «embraces» the other
three, creating an internal courtyard. The villa also includews
an almost underground parking
area of 25 m2 and a pool area of 27 m2.
The main building consists of a two-storey villa with wooden roof and it includes
public areas (kitchen, dining room, living room, wc) on the ground floor and
two bedrooms with a bathroom. Opposite the main building there is a ground floor
building that houses two bedrooms each having a bath. One of them has facilities
for people with special needs (SEN).
Among the central and above the building there is an almost outdoor area that
brings them together, including the entry into the villa, a barbecue, a stone
oven, great for dining. Beneath this area there is the storage space of the villa
and parking place for two cars.
The «guesthouse» of the villa is another ground floor area (an independent building)
comprising of a bedroom and a bath. In the attic there is a plot-roofed veranda
with pergola offering unrestricted view in all directions. Among the guest house
and the main building there is the pool.
